MEET DR. DEALLEN

Daughter of immigrant parents from Kolkata, India, Dr. DeAllen was born and raised in Raleigh, North Carolina. Dr. DeAllen received her undergraduate degree from North Carolina State University prior completing her professional degree at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. Dr. DeAllen opened her private practice, Jamestown Family Eye Care, in Jamestown in 1989. Dr. DeAllen is a member of the American Optometric Association, the North Carolina State Optometric Society, and the Triad Optometric Society.

In addition to her professional career and accolades, she is deeply committed to serving the Triad community.  Dr. DeAllen has been a volunteer at the Community Clinic of High Point for over 20 years. For the past 10 years, she has served as a volunteer for the Multiple Sclerosis Society and as a support group leader for the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation. Dr. DeAllen and her husband MacEntyre have two children, Kiron and Priya, and reside in Jamestown.
